On the road again..

Well, we are off again. This time we are heading to Indiana, I know, I know, WHY Indiana? Well are going to visit Dugger's mom's hometown Carlisle Indiana. We have never seen her mom's gravesite. Believe it or not there is actually a lot to do in Indiana. We have found an Amish Village, a winery, a lots of art"y" towns. In fact where we are headed today, Nashville, IN, is known as a famous art colony. We will see....
At the KOA in Nashille TN, I asked the front desk where we could find sushi, and they looked at me like I had sprouted a third eye on my forehead. One guy said that sushi is not dinner, that's bait. I paused for a moment and I swear I heard banjo music.....I wish I was making that up.
This is our first trip with having more then the three of us in the motorhome. An extra adult and and extra dog is not as bad as it could have been. It is just weird hanging out in back, mom gets a little car sick. So I have been riding in the back. I kind of like it. I have the time to things like this and surf the internet. Our new broadband card from Verizon works great so far. Only one or two times in the mountains did we lose a signal.

vacation update

Finally some decent online time...we are having a great time. we went to Dollywood today and we rode some wicked coasters...it was also the gospel revival, very interesting crowd.

We are going on our first hike tomorrow and we are not taking the boy...here is our info in case we get lost or eaten by a bear or something.
we are hiking Newmans Gap at 8am and then hiking to Charlies Bunion...(not kidding) we are coming back the same way...no later then ten pm..it is not supposed to be an overnighter. The KOA we are staying at is 828- 497-9711

I will try to upload a couple of pictures before we crash again...I have started about 5 emails to people and it dumps me before I can send...

ok I think I have the hang of this.

As usual I can not sleep, so here we are.
Dug's sick...nasty sore throat. I am really trying to avoid him if possible, I really do not want to get sick. There is enough stuff going around at work, and I have been able to avoid that, so this shouldn't be too difficult. I does suck however since I am off today and tomorrow.
His lastest greatest adventure is on online store. He really has some great ideas...I won't get to into now, since it is planning stages.
Our big trip is approx. 35 days away. Hiking the AT trail!!! Whaoo hoo I can't wait. We are also going to see the whale sharks at hte Atlanta Aquarium, and Washington DC.

First day with the blog. I 've been thinking about doing this for a while. Everyone complains that they don't hear from me enough! Lets try this!
